Galaxy FM

For some time now, I've been working to represent Drum & Bass on Galaxy 105, with a view towards earning my very own show, and I'm now extremely pleased to announce that on Saturday 16th October 2004, I'll be gracing their turntables with a 1-hour special guest mix, between the hours of 02:50-03:50. So, lets just hope that this is the first of many - Please remember to show your support during show time by lending your listening ears, and getting interactive by text, phone, and email! I'd like to thank Galaxy for this opportunity, and I hope that in the future it'll become a regular fixture, both for myself, and the music, on Yorkshire's number one for Dance & R'n'B - Galaxy! Absolute Leeds - DJ of the Year 2003/2004

I've been awarded "DJ of the Year 2003/2004" in Absolute Leeds (The Essential Guide to Style in Leeds) as voted by the general public. I was the only DJ representing Drum & Bass, and other nominees included names such as Graham Park (Galaxy 105). This is not only a great achievement for myself, but it also reflects just how strong the music has, and will continue to become, especially as hardly any, if any, D&B heads read the magazine. I'd like to thank everyone voted, and of course the people who've helped my career progress to where it is today; you all know who you are, and there's much more in store, it's just the beginning! I dedicate this award to the memory of my uncle, Derek O'Connor (RIP), who recently passed away.
